How to Study Efficiently Using Cert++

What's actually on the exam? What resources should I use? How do I know when I'm ready? After helping hundreds of people with their certifications, we've found that people usually ask the same questions. This guide is our answer to all of them.

How to pass, in four steps

See where you stand (~10 minutes)
Take a free 15-question practice exam. It's fine to score low. You'll come out with an understanding of what kinds of questions are asked and a feeling for what you'll need to know.
Set a goal on the exams page (~2 minutes)
Having a target date on the calendar helps way more than people expect for staying motivated.
Work through the study checklist
Your study checklist follows the official exam guide topics, broken down into all the specific concepts you need to learn. Each concept comes with an explainer, helpful links, and a practice question. Checklist completion percentage is one of the best predictors of exam success.
Take practice exams until you get comfortable, then book the exam
The single best predictor of passing your exam is the number of practice questions you do. Instead of obsessing about your scores, get comfortable with all the possible things you might be asked. Each exam ends with a breakdown of which concepts you struggled with. Once you feel comfortable with all the material, schedule your exam.

"Is the content reliable?"

Join the free community Discord to read stories of other learners who passed using Cert++, often after failing with "industry standard" platforms. We curate our content constantly to make sure it's as good as possible.

"I'm not ready to seriously study yet"

"What does it cost?"

If you're studying Platform Admin, all our content is free. For other certs, we give away one practice exam, the base study checklist, and other guides and resources for free.
