Education Cloud Consultant
The Salesforce Certified Education Cloud Consultant credential is for anyone implementing Salesforce in higher education or K-12. It tests your knowledge of the Education Data Architecture (EDA), the K-12 Architecture Kit, recruitment and admissions workflows, student success tooling, and advancement operations. This is not an admin exam - it assumes you already know core Salesforce. Questions focus on which education-specific object, package, or configuration fits a given institutional scenario. If you work in edtech or Salesforce for Education and are comfortable with EDA, this certification is within reach.
3-Step Path to Passing
- 1
Complete the Education Cloud Consultant Trailmix
Start with the official Salesforce trailmix. It covers EDA, K-12, recruitment and admissions, student success, and advancement. Work through all of it before anything else. - 2
Attempt Practice Exams
I recommend my own practice exams. They mirror the scenario-heavy format of the real test and are the best way to find gaps in your EDA data model and Education Cloud configuration knowledge. - 3Schedule when you are consistently scoring well on practice exams. The exam is scenario-heavy, so do not head to the test center until EDA object relationships feel second nature.
