Resource Pack

CPQ Administrator

The Salesforce Certified CPQ Administrator credential proves you can configure Salesforce CPQ (formerly Steelbrick) end-to-end: bundles, pricing, templates, approvals, and the full order-to-renewal lifecycle. This is not a general admin exam. Every question assumes you are comfortable with CPQ-specific objects and can mentally trace the pricing waterfall. If you are coming from a pure admin background, give yourself time to get hands-on with a CPQ-enabled org before sitting the exam.

3-Step Path to Passing

  1. 1

    Complete the CPQ Admin Trailmix

The official Salesforce trailmix covers the full CPQ admin content path. CPQ has its own ecosystem of modules distinct from core admin, so work through every badge here before doing anything else.
  2. 2

    Attempt Practice Exams

I recommend my own practice exams, but I have linked other options in the Study Resources section below. CPQ scenario questions require you to trace multi-step logic, so do not just memorize field names. Work through each explanation carefully.
  3. 3

    Schedule Your Exam

Schedule when you are scoring consistently above 75% on practice exams. CPQ is a niche exam and the gap between a trained and untrained candidate is significant, so do not rush the scheduling.
