Territory models use three lifecycle states—Planning, Active, and Archived—to safely design, test, and deploy account and user alignments. The Planning state lets you preview structures and run assignment rules in isolation, while only one model can be Active at a time to ensure consistent production assignments. Archived models preserve past configurations for reference but cannot be reactivated.
