In CloudHub, non-persistent Virtual Machine (VM) queues store messages only in worker memory, making in-flight messages vulnerable to loss during worker restarts or data center migrations. This creates a single point of failure for any process that requires message durability. Enabling persistent queues at the deployment level transfers message storage to a durable backend, ensuring zero message loss across infrastructure failures.
