Explainer

A SOQL semi-join filters records in a main query by matching a field against a list of IDs returned from a subquery on a related object. An anti-join uses the NOT IN operator to exclude records that appear in the subquery results. These constructs allow complex filtering across object relationships without retrieving data from the related object in the SELECT clause.
