In Data Cloud activations, 'rejected' records are segment members that were not successfully delivered to the activation target during a run. A high rejected count indicates data quality or mapping issues that prevented those profiles from being accepted by the destination system. Common causes include missing or invalid contact point values (e.g., malformed email addresses), missing required activation attributes, mismatched field data types, and missing relationships between the segment's primary DMO and the contact point DMO used by the activation target.
