The one-way interaction pattern, also called fire-and-forget, allows Salesforce to send a request to a remote system without waiting for the remote system to finish processing. This asynchronous approach is used when the calling system can continue immediately, such as when updating a user interface or processing data events, rather than blocking for a response.
