On-premises Mule runtimes and Anypoint Runtime Fabric are customer-hosted deployment options that shift infrastructure management to your organization while preserving cloud-based application control. They enable you to host integration workloads within your own security boundaries or data centers without relying on fully managed cloud workers. Both models require you to provision the underlying servers or Kubernetes clusters, but they still leverage the Anypoint Platform control plane for deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
