Aggregation, orchestration, and choreography are composition patterns used to coordinate multiple systems and complete complex business processes. Orchestration relies on a central controller to direct synchronous tasks, while choreography uses an autonomous, asynchronous network of participants without a central authority. Aggregation combines data or results from several independent systems into a single response.
