Whiteboarding is the practice of drawing and writing on a whiteboard, physical or online, to explain ideas and build a shared understanding of a concept or idea. It exists as an interactive alternative to a long slide deck: you create the content in dialogue with the audience, which raises engagement, invites people to speak up, and builds trust. In a meeting, an online board can also let attendees mark the space with you so the group can share ideas and build consensus.
