A lifecycle hook is a callback method that runs at a specific phase of a Lightning web component instance. The framework creates the component, inserts it into the DOM, renders it, removes it from the DOM, and monitors it for property changes. You implement a hook so your code runs at the right moment in that sequence: create, connect, render, disconnect, or handle an error in the tree.
