After you test an agent in a sandbox, you can move it to production with Salesforce change sets or with Agentforce DX. Change sets are a Setup tool that send configuration metadata from one affiliated org to another. Agentforce DX puts that same agent metadata in a local Salesforce DX project, treats a version-control system as the source of truth for production, and uses CLI or VS Code to move the metadata among scratch orgs, sandboxes, and production orgs.
