When a user messages an agent, the agent must pick which job should handle the request. That job is a subagent (formerly called a topic; the rename in April 2026 did not change how it works). Classification descriptions tell the agent which user requests belong to each subagent, and the Agent Router uses those names and descriptions, plus any filters and logic you add, to route the conversation.
