An Agentforce agent is a goal-oriented, autonomous AI assistant that performs tasks, holds natural-language conversations, and answers from business data within the use cases and guardrails you set. Its building blocks are subagents and actions, grounding data, connections and channels, and the Atlas reasoning engine. Agent Script is the language in Agentforce Builder that defines those blocks by mixing programmatic workflow with natural-language instructions.
