A Service agent’s actions run as a specific Salesforce identity, and that identity’s profile, permissions, field-level security, and sharing rules are what the agent can actually see and change. By default that identity is the dedicated EinsteinServiceAgent User, not the person in the chat. Credential-based user verification, for logged-in Experience Cloud site users on Enhanced Chat, switches run-as to the logged-in site user so action execution follows that user’s access instead.
