After you move an Agentforce agent from sandbox into staging or production, it is not live for employees or customers until its connections and channel pieces are finished in that org. A connection is the bundle of behind-the-scenes instructions, adaptive response formats, settings, and Omni-Channel flows that lets you build one agent and attach it to surfaces such as Enhanced Chat, email, Slack, or Lightning Experience. Post-deployment work is activating the agent, publishing web chat, attaching routing, and confirming the agent actually answers on each intended channel.
