Testing Center's subagent and action evaluations are pass/fail checks on whether the agent routed a user utterance to the intended subagent and then launched every expected action from that subagent. They exist because a reply can still look acceptable while the agent picked the wrong specialist or skipped a required action. You use the scores to find routing and action-selection problems, then refine subagent and action instructions, or correct the test's expected values.

Core information
  • An utterance is a question or request sent to the agent. Because one agent can have several subagents (specialized handlers), Testing Center records which subagent should run and which actions from that subagent should run, then compares that plan to what the agent actually selected.
More details and nuances
  • A passing response score does not mean actions were correct: a case can pass subagent and response evaluation and still fail action evaluation when the agent ran only some of the expected actions.
