Retriever grounding in Prompt Builder searches a Data 360 search index and inserts matching knowledge into an LLM prompt so the model answers from your indexed content rather than from an empty context. You create and activate the retriever in AI Models (formerly Einstein Studio), then insert it as a prompt-template resource. At run time the retriever supplies accurate, current, pertinent results; that Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pattern is what improves the relevance, accuracy, and value of the generated response.
