Prompt Builder is where you create prompt templates: reusable instructions that pull in CRM data and send a finished prompt to a large language model (LLM) for a specific generative moment, such as drafting an email or filling a field. Agentforce Builder is where you build and test agents, which are goal-oriented assistants that converse, choose actions, and complete a sequence of tasks. Use Prompt Builder when the requirement is a precise, data-grounded LLM instruction; use Agentforce Builder when the requirement is an autonomous agent that can decide what to do and, when needed, call those templates as actions.
