A joined report lets you view different types of information in a single report by using up to five blocks, each showing data from one standard or custom report type. You add another report type only when it has relationships with the same object or objects as the types already in the report, such as Opportunities and Cases both relating to Accounts. Groupings apply across the blocks using common fields, while each block still has its own columns, filters, and sorting.
