Entitlement process versioning lets you keep more than one version of the same entitlement process in an org, even when that process is already assigned to active entitlements and support records. Administrators use it to change service rules over time, run slightly different versions side by side, or roll back to an earlier version. You enable it on the Entitlement Settings page before you can create multiple versions, and Salesforce will not let you disable it afterward.
