Related list Lightning components are the declarative way to put child or parent records on a Lightning record page. The page layout still decides which related lists exist, but Lightning App Builder decides which component you drop on the page and how that list looks and behaves. The exam choice is which component matches the scenario: every list, one list, a filtered App Builder–configured list, or hoverable quick links.
