Account, opportunity, and case teams give named colleagues extra access to one record so they can work it together, without changing org-wide sharing. Each member gets a role (for example account manager or executive sponsor) and an access level that is at least as open as the org’s default sharing. An admin must enable the related list (and, for cases, define roles); users then add members or apply a default team of the people they usually work with.
