The Visualforce component in Lightning App Builder hosts an existing Visualforce page on a Lightning app page so custom Visualforce UI can appear inside Lightning Experience. Lightning pages are layouts of Lightning components, and this component is the declarative way to put Visualforce into a page region. App Builder only offers a Visualforce page after you enable it for Lightning Experience, Lightning Communities, and the mobile app.
