When a flow interview fails and no fault path catches the error, Salesforce emails a detailed failure report so someone can troubleshoot. By default that email goes to the user who last modified the flow; you can instead send it to the Apex exception email recipients. The person running the flow may only see the generic message that an unhandled fault has occurred.
