User, public, and resource calendars split Salesforce scheduling into personal time, team activities, and shared assets so those bookings do not all live on one person's calendar. A user calendar (My Events) is that person's own meetings; a public calendar holds group events such as training or a team vacation; a resource calendar is the booking sheet for something shared, like a conference room. Admins create and share public and resource calendars from Setup, while each user shares their own calendar with coworkers.
