A classic approval process ends in one of two action groups: final approval or final rejection. Final approval actions run after every required approval is obtained and no later step remains. Final rejection actions run only when a rejection sends the request into the final rejection state, which is not the same as a step-level decline that sends the request back to a previous approver.
