When more than one approval process exists, a user who clicks Submit for Approval cannot see which classic approval process actually starts. Each classic process uses its own entry criteria and allowed submitters, and Salesforce shows an error if the record and user match none of them. Record-triggered flow approval processes are different: you set their run order in Flow Trigger Explorer next to other record-triggered flows and orchestrations.
