Login-as lets an administrator, Salesforce support user, partner support user, or subscriber work in an org as another user so they can troubleshoot what that person sees. The org can require the target user to grant that access first, or it can let administrators log in as any user without asking. When a grant is required, the user chooses how long access lasts, up to one year.

An administrator logs in as another user from Setup, Users, then the Login link next to that username. The link appears only when that user has granted login access or the org lets administrators log in as any user.
